We are citizens of our city, state, country, world, system, constellation and universe! It's time for us to think in these terms.
 
The Michaels Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization, is dedicated to the dissemination and teaching of the highest Truth available here and the highest Goals available to humanity on our planet — to foster peace and brotherhood. Since we cannot get off this world permanently in this life — we must change it and make it safe for humanity and for our children's future. Universal truth is for everyone!

We are not involved in metaphysics; we are an organization that teaches the highest form of spiritual growth for the individual. We teach Transcendence of the Self ... or Cosmic Consciousness ... God consciousness!   (This is NOT transcendental meditation)
 
There are 7 Basic Cornerstones of Living that will bring self-growth and self-improvement as well as spiritual development and they will change your life if learned and followed on a day-to-day basis. They are:
  1. Take care of details ... no problem exists unless someone leaves a detail undone!
  2. The law of cause and effect does exist ... understand this and work with it.
  3. Make all your decisions "for the greater good for all concerned" ... this is the one law of God that we can utilize --- all others are immutable to us --- this one will always work if our intent is correct ... and it will change our lives amazingly.
  4. You must convert urges, transform desires, and transfer lures ... this is the beginning of self-mastery.
  5. Spirituality is an individual decision, no one controls your mind, and it is your choice.
  6. Let go and let God ... do not manipulate --- have patience.
  7. Self-value, not self-confidence is the result of spiritual growth.

Goals rather than Creeds will unify races, religions and humanity! As long as the primary goal is spiritual ... not material, (prosperity is a side effect), an amazing change will take place. Common goals create mutual understanding and amazing results. When most of us have the same goal, our world will be on its way to light and life! Check the button "Transcendence, What Is It?"
 
All these things are real and possible today! Flying around naked on a cloud strumming a harp in the far distant future is not a goal that urges anyone to get excited in today's world. Achieving transcendence-balance is a real opportunity for us to remove fear, become responsible, become happy, well balanced, and productive individuals. Wouldn't you like a future without fear and insecurity?
 
Transcendence of the Self is the "Today" Goal and is a goal that can be achieved in this lifetime by anyone with normal intelligence and a belief in God! Now is the Time to think beyond "ourselves" - to "Transcend Self", to consider others, to live without fear, and to accept the Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Man. All these things are Real and Possible Now!
When presented the Liberty Medal in Philadelphia on July 4, 1994, during his address, His Excellency, Vaclav Havel, President of the Czech Republic,  stated: "Transcendence as the only real alternative to extinction."

"It logically follows that, in today's multicultural world, the truly reliable path to coexistence and creative cooperation, must start from what is at the root of all cultures and what lies infinitely deeper in human hearts and minds than political opinion, convictions, antipathies or sympathies --- it must be rooted in Self-Transcendence!" This man is so right on target as he also stated "if we do not transcend self we will become extinct!"

Our perception is that one person cannot make a difference, but if you are good, you are great! Reaching for a goal that touches all around you with stability, sincerity and love will change far more than you realize! Our perception of what is real, what is possible, and what is attainable is critical to our comfort and peace of mind. Our perceptions, not facts, shape our lives, our environment, and our future.
 
Chain reactions, be they good or bad ... happen because something alters perception, and this causes slow changes whose consequences go unrecognized because they contradict conventional knowledge, and cannot occur until they pass some unknown or unrecognized threshold. This is a known fact! Small changes feed upon themselves and actually cause people to behave differently, think differently and eventually groups of people and institutions begin to function differently. Then these perceptions and changes suddenly crystallize and become huge ... and a major shift occurs.
 
This is the way the world works, you cannot force it to change simply by administration, laws, material might or scientific advances --- it must be from the individual's perception that becomes a growing reality and then we will see the permanent changes that will bring peace and prosperity to our world --- all else is a temporary "fix." History repeats itself because humanity's goals have never changed. If we are to live in peace it is our perception that must change and our future will be assured.
 

The Michaels Foundation is dedicated to teaching humanity transcendence so that history will no longer repeat itself.
